This blog started last August (2005) as a way to chronicle hurricane Rita in Pearland, TX. The hurricane missed us fortunately. I have renamed the site as we enter the active part of the 2007 hurricane season, and will begin to closely track the hurricanes that enter the Gulf of Mexico, especially those with there sites on the Texas Gulf Coast.
